Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL)
ADSL is currently the most common Broadband Service. Depending on the age of the BT Exchange and whether it has been upgraded to the later, Century 21 equipment and the physical distance you are located from the Exchange, will determine what speed you can actually achieve.

With earlier Exchanges without Century 21 (21CN) the maximum speed you can obtain is 8Mbps download and 447Kbps upload but this will diminish the further away you are.Uprated Exchanges with 21CN the speed almost trebles,
24Mbps download and 1.2Mbps upload. Again this will diminish the further you get from the exchange but normally
suitable for most business needs but for companies with multiple branches or outworkers connecting over
VPN’s that need the best speeds possible and where Fibre DSL is not available, see our range of Bonded
solutions which can double, treble and quadruple existing speeds.
